Two thousand and nineteen marked the inaugural Sea Otter Canada, this event is a celebration of everything cycling and is hosted at Blue Mountain Resort.
The resort is Eastern Canada’s premier gravity riding area and for this event riders were given access to trails that are normally closed to the public, culminating with the final stage winding riders down through the custom-built dual slalom course that ends right in the middle of the Sea Otter Expo. Blue Mountain has been the host of everything mountain biking for a long time, their terrain is varied and riders can expect everything from fast-flowing machine built singletrack, to steep rocky terrain, to the infamous ‘five seconds of Bromont’ rock garden.
Having this iconic event a part of Sea Otter Canada will also provide athletes an opportunity to network with brands, sponsors and the public all while providing a myriad of social activities over the course of the multi-day festival.
