Since 2015, the Grand Raid Godefroy Enduro takes place at the edge of the Belgian Ardennes, in the medieval city of Bouillon.
The race happens every year in the second week of September, on the Saturday of a full MTB dedicated weekend for the small town. It is followed on Sunday with a famous marathon, which will be part of the UCI MTB marathon series this year.
Praised as one, if not the best enduro race in Belgium, it will host in 2019 the Belgian enduro championship where riders will fight for their national jersey.
The stages are mostly natural, filled with roots and rocks. There is good flow to be found, however some stages will definitely test your technical abilities.
Expect a total elevation of 1500m over the day, with 7 timed stages.
Don't forget to enjoy the views on this gem of the Ardennes!
