Riders can expect speed, switchbacks, loam and classic Swiss alpine views during this one day race. The race will feature five special stages with two cable car lifts. There will be approximately 2200m of descending with around 1500m of climbing over roughly 40km.
The region has many types of terrain, including an alpine and rocky stage with a start at 2000m altitude. A second one will count a lot of roots with a lot of line choice in a magnificent forest. The other two stages at lower altitudes will be fast and flowy with passages on the old Maxi-Avalanche course from 2004. To finish the last special stage will have many tight switchbacks in a forest of fir trees that line the ground with their needles.
