The Enduro Sports Organisation owns and operates the Enduro World Series (EWS) and Scottish Enduro Series (SES).
ESO has a global community of professional teams, event organisers, the biggest cycling brands and thousands of amateur and professional athletes. In 2021 ESO hosted the EWS Tweed Valley - the first major EWS event in Scotland in 6 years, and the flagship event for future EWS series events. In the same year, the company also acquired the Scottish Enduro Series (SES), with a plan to re-imagine the sport at a grassroots level.

About the role:
This role is a new position within ESO, focusing on the growth and development of the Scottish Enduro Series (SES) and the EWS Tweed Valley. Working as part of the communications and marketing team, you’ll work closely with senior management and the SES delivery team to promote and grow the audiences of these events, as well as providing strong communications and marketing material to a broad range of stakeholders, including riders, media, partners and local communities.
Job responsibilities:
Working closely with the senior management team, you would be responsible for:
- Managing and updating websites on Wix and the ESO platform
- Creating content for and managing the Scottish Enduro social channels
- Email marketing campaign planning and execution (Mailchimp)
- Reporting on website and digital channel performance
- Managing the promotion and communications for Scotland-based events
- Supporting local business and community engagement
- Assisting with on-site event marketing activations, branding, signage and event communication
- Local and industry media relations
- Supporting the global communications and marketing team in implementing communication and marketing strategies for ESO and other brands within the group
Experience:
Previous experience in a marketing, communications, PR environment or within an event management organisation would be advantageous for this role.

You will need to demonstrate a passion for working in a fast paced, dynamic environment and have a desire to get the job done, to the highest standards possible, in the given timeframe.
Essential skills
- Exceptional writing and interpersonal communication skills
- Competent with digital platforms, e.g. website CMS systems and email marketing platforms such as MailChimp or similar
- Social media management
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of project teams
Desirable
- Photography skills
- Experience using Wix
