The Enduro Sports Organisation owns and operates the mountain bike Enduro World Series and electric MTB equivalent, EWS-E. With a global community of events and professional teams and thousands of amateur and professional athletes. We work alongside the fastest racers, the biggest brands and most inspiring destinations around the world. With recent investment from Discovery Inc, Play Sports Group and Eurosport, we have joined with the biggest cycling community in the world and have ambitious plans to develop all platforms across numerous technological frontiers in the coming years.

As an active, outdoor and passionate cycling company, at the heart of the mountain bike industry, we celebrate ambitious, creative, innovative and self-motivated individuals who want to join a growing Scottish based but global organisation.

About the role

This role is a  brand-new position with the Enduro World Series/EWS-E, bringing content creation, focussed on video, in house. The video Creator will form a key part of the marketing and communications team and, while the focus is on video creation, the content will be varied across all platforms.

The role is full-time, based in our new office in Innerleithen (from December 2021) and involves travel to our events around the world. It is designed to replicate and put in place many of the responsibilities of a Creator role developed by the Play Sports Network group.

You will need to demonstrate the same work ethic as the other creators in the team by having a passion for working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and have a desire to get the job done to the highest standards possible.

As a video creator, you will be responsible for filming and assembling recorded raw material into a finished product that's suitable for broadcast. The material may include camera footage, images, dialogue, sound effects, graphics and special effects. This is a key role in the post-production process and your skills can determine the quality and delivery of the final product. You'll work closely with a presenter to achieve the desired end result.

Video creators work independently or with a presenter or pro rider as part of a small team when filming on location, both in the UK and abroad.  On a large project, you may work with assistant editors and/or freelance contractors. The role may be pressured, for example, when working intensively to strict deadlines with limited studio time.

You’ll work closely with other team members and managers in your group to deliver on the editorial strategy and commercial plans. Our company is currently at a pivotal point in terms of its growth and as such this is an unprecedented opportunity to make this role your own and to work with one of the biggest broadcasters in the world.
