With a global community of events and professional teams and thousands of amateur and professional athletes. We are looking for a Lead Developer to join our expanding team. You will be fundamental in project completion and over time build, mentor and manage a team of younger developers.
You will be responsible for leading on all software development, aligning and maximising our partner’s at Play Sports Group, Discovery Inc and Eurosport’s existing technology while developing specialist programmes for our growing events and communications business.
You will be required to be involved in estimating effort to deliver requirements, providing insight into technical solutions to solve requirements and helping to drive continuous improvements within our company.

Building complex CMS systems in PHP
Setting up continuous integration/deployment pipelines
Complex SQL queries
Designing secure Restful / GraphQL APIs
Automated unit & integration testing
Working with modern tooling (Git, CI/CD, ticketing systems, code-reviews)
PHP frameworks such as Symphony / Laravel / October
AWS or another cloud provider (including containerisation and managed SQL systems)
Cloud migration
Mentoring team members or building a team
ReactJS / VueJS or ReactNative / Flutter experience
