You don’t have to be an expert in global geography to be aware of the fact that Austria is home to some rather impressive mountains. In aforementioned towering chunks of rock there are of course some rather good opportunities to go mountain biking and that was all the excuse that Unior Devinci’s Greg Callaghan needed to park his van up in Saalbach for a couple of hours after Bluegrass EWS Finale Ligure.
The trails of the Saalbach Hinterglem feature over 400km of biking and walking trails and, unfortunately for Greg, some of the rocks are sharper than others...
Despite there only being three Enduro World Series rounds to contest in 2020 Greg’s first season on Devinci was a successful one with three results inside the top 20 putting him on the pace and joint 11th in the EWS global rankings alongside Rhys Verner.
