In the north of England, pies are a serious thing. The humble pie is widely revered as being so much more than simply a filling of your choice encased in a heat-retaining pastry crust. All that being said, when someone has the owner of one of the North West's most well-respected pie emporiums saved in their phone, a sort of pie hotline, then you know they are not messing around.
Elliott Heap is a fromer Enduro World Series U21 Champ. First spotted by Chain Reaction Cycles Team Manager, Nigel Page, Heap's progress has been meteoric, no doubt helped by being able to spend weeks at a time with none other than three-times EWS Champion, Sam Hill.
Live To Ride travelled to the North West to spend a couple of days with Elliot to find out, pies aside, what makes him tick:

Will Elliott be one to watch when we head to Zermatt for R1 of the 2020 Enduro World Series at the end of August? Check out the restructured EWS schedule here. To celebrate 30 years as a brand, Nukeproof Bikes have released a limited edition run of their Reactor, the bike Elliot is riding in the video. The Reactor 290C Worx won't be around for long - check it out here.
