Tribe Rocky Mountain PowerPlay announce EWS-E line up

05 March 2020

Tribe Rocky Mountain PowerPlay have their sights set on the EWS-E Series Championship - and today they announced the team who they hope will lead them to victory.

Capitalising on Rocky Mountain’s strong racing heritage, the all French team will be at each of this season’s three EWS-E rounds in France, Switzerland and Italy.

Levy Batista has a host of impressive titles to his name

Leading out the team will be former MX1 French Champion Levy Batista who has recently made the transition to enduro. Batista is well-known in France having secured second overall in the Enduro Series French Cup in 2018 and sixth in the French National Enduro Championship last year.

Irénée Menjou has been tempted back to racing by EWS-E

Joining him will be Irénée Menjou, a rider with both extensive downhill and enduro experience. He’s taken a few years out at home in the Pyrenees, but e-bikes have tempted him back to competition and he will definitely be a name to watch when he takes to the start line this summer.

Also listed on the team roster are Emeric Ienzer who’ll race in the Men’s category, whilst Charlotte Rey will compete in the U21 Women.
