Lapeyrie launches crowd-funded 2020 campaign

29 January 2020

Thomas Lapeyrie has announced that following his departure from what is now the Orbea Fox Enduro Team he is going to attempt to take on the 2020 Enduro World Series on a crowd funded basis.

‘T-Lap’ released a statement yesterday announcing that he would be competing under the ‘RIDER404’ banner. Taking influence from the infamous error message the release left the details of his 2020 set-up yet to be confirmed. Layperie finished the 2019 season in 20th place in elite men's overall championship with a highest finish of seventh in the CamelBak Canadian Open Enduro presented by Specialized at Crankworx Whistler.

“Born from a “system error”, this rider exists solely thanks to the immense solidarity from the passionate enduro community.”
