2019 Rider Advisory Board Named

07 March 2019

Since its inception in 2013, the EWS has sought to put the athletes that race the series at the heart of everything it does. That's why each year the Series appoints a Rider Advisory Board, to make sure riders voices are heard and riders feel empowered to feedback into the decisions that shape the future of the sport.

We consult our Rider Advisory Board on any major topics and we look to our Advisors to feedback rider feelings and thoughts. Of course, we are always open to talk with everyone, but if you're a rider with some thoughts don't be shy to consult your representatives. It can be far more effective for you as a rider, and us an organisation to work with a focussed and small group of representatives instead of hundreds of varying opinions. We believe our Advisors speak for all riders,  so make sure your voice is heard and get in touch with them if you have a thought, idea or concern and we'll be sure to listen and work towards a solution together.

Our Advisors span both English and French speaking and European and Australasian countries, equally representative of both the women and men's categories. Our rider's also represent four seperate Official EWS Teams.

Previous Rider Advisors include Jerome Clementz, Curtis Keene, Justin Leov and Tracy Moseley.

2019 Rider Advisory Board

Greg Callaghan (Cube Action Team)

Greg started off racing the EWS as a privateer, but his talent was hard to ignore and he is now a professional rider signed to the Cube Action Team. With multipie EWS wins to his name, home and abroad, Greg knows the sport from the grassroots privateer to the very top step of the hardest fought podiums. Greg joins us this year for the first time as an Advisor and we look forward to learning from his broad experience.

Isabeau Courdurier (Intense-Mavic Collective)

Intense-Mavic Collective rider Isabeau Courdurier has been steadily climbing the ranks of the Enduro World Series for the last few years. The French native was on the podium at every round in 2018 and is currently ranked second in the world. Although a force to reckoned with on the course, Isabeau is also well experienced in sport and has brilliant knowledge and advice on a range of topics. Isa's also the only French speaking Advisor, so if English isn't your first language, don't worry, Isabeau is there for you.

Josh Carlson (Giant Factory Off-Road Team)

Australian Josh rides for the Giant Factory Off-Road Team. Josh has been competing in the Enduro World Series from the very start, and is one of the most experienced racers on the circuit. He's also a self-confessed frother and always brings the stoke to a discussion.

Katy Winton (Trek Factory Racing)

Hailing from Scotland, Katy grew up riding the iconic trails of the Tweed Valley. She has a number of Cross Country and Downhill titles to her name, but is now fully focussed on Enduro and rides for Trek Factory Racing. Katy has been ranked 3rd in the world for the last two years and has a wealth of experience and insight for you to tap into and for us to tap into too!
