The Christchurch Adventure Park will host one of the biggest events on the mountain bike racing calendar on 16 February and you do not want to miss it. The Phoenix Enduro is the fourth and final race of the 2019 EWS Asia-Pacific Enduro Series, which allows riders to gain world ranking points into the 2019 Enduro World Series.
"This is a really high profile event, so we can't wait to host it here at the Park," Christchurch Adventure Park General Manager Anne Newman said. "Officially registrations closed on Sunday evening, but we have had a number of riders contact us who are disappointed that they missed getting their entries in, so we are re-opening registrations for two more days from 9am Tuesday 5 February until midnight on Wednesday 6 February. This is absolutely the last chance to get your entry in, so don't miss out on what will be an epic race through some of the best trails both within our Park and in the surrounding Port Hills."
The Asia-Pacific Enduro Series is part of the Continental Series that was launched last year to bridge the gap between Qualifying events and the main EWS races. These events allow up and coming riders to compete in existing events closer to home, gain ranking points and the chance to win a Championship title.
The entry fee for the event is $175, which includes two full days of practice racing prior to the event; one full day of timed racing; access to the Christchurch Adventure Park’s chairlift for the duration of the week (Monday through to Friday night); prize money and spot prizes from sponsors.
